Knock Wood 1940s charm

A wonderfully unusual vintage “Knock Wood” charm, dating to the 1930s–40s. Hand-carved from hardwood, the small round-faced figure has 14k yellow gold hands raised to knock on his head, with tiny gold accents adding to his wonderfully quirky character.

These charms were popular during the wartime era as good-luck talismans, often given to soldiers heading off to war as a reminder to stay safe and come home. Finding one today is incredibly rare—especially one that has survived nearly a century and been carefully collected and saved along the way.
